I don’t know about you but ice cream is my FAVORITE dessert of all time. I could eat it any time of the year almost at any time of the day. And this Bananas Foster Nice Cream is on point.
Nice cream is a healthier version of ice cream. It’s basically blended frozen bananas. Which, by itself, I think is great. But add in some yummy toppings and you have yourself a healthier treat.
This Bananas Foster Nice Cream isn’t quite vegan…But it can easily be vegan friendly if you found vegan toppings to include and made this with dairy free milk.
Can I just say that this is SO easy to make?! No ice cream machine needed.
All you need is a blender or food processor, frozen bananas, caramel, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. To make this a true Bananas Foster dessert, you’d need to add in some rum. Now, I didn’t have this on hand when I made this, but if you do, by all means, add in a splash! Add all ingredients into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth. Once smooth, pour into a 9×5 inch baking pan and freeze until frozen (about 1 hour).
Remove from freezer and scoop out a bowl of this deliciousness!
Feel free to drizzle with extra caramel or granola. Don’t feel guilty for eating it because it’s made with mostly healthy ingredients.
Enjoy!
