Scoping of Possible Regulations (Ideas Being Considered)

During the scoping process, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources gathers suggestions and ideas from stakeholders and others about how to solve a fishery problem or address a need. The goal of scoping is to identify issues, potential impacts, and reasonable alternatives so that management actions can be developed.

Please submit feedback by 11:59 p.m. on March 18, 2020 for the following scoping ideas:

• Blue Crabs – Poplar Island Crab Pot Line
• Striped Bass – Recreational Summer and Fall Fishery
